Farida J. Babul, Chairman
Mrs. Babul, is an active woman entrepreneur in Bangladesh, who has been the Chairman of the board since 2002. She has been in the board promoting the National brand's growth within the poultry and agribusinesses sectors.
With a strong enthusiasm for education, she works with various organizations, to help underpivelleged children get an access to education both in Dhaka city, and her home district of Shariatpur. She graduated with a bachelors in Economics from Eden College in 1991, and is an advocate for human and women's rights in Bangladesh.
Akther H. Babul, Managing Director
Mr. Babul is the Managing Director of National Feed Mill and is one of the most prominent businessmen within the Bangladeshi poultry and poultry feed sector. His strong vision of backward linkage, helped National grow to be one of the biggest integrated agribusinesses company within the country. He is the founder of National Group and is a majority stakeholder for his enterprises.
An avid learner, and a philanthropist, he enjoys giving back to the community by working with orphanages in the Gazipur area, where most of National's assets are located.
Adib Babul, Director
Adib is the Director of National Group, Bangladesh and is especially involved with the company’s international relations and trading. He helped partner National with Milwite Inc, a Texas based feed additive company, and has helped National engage in business with the agricultural giant ADM (Archer Daniels Midland).
Adib graduated with a bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University, with a concentration in Finance. He also co-Founded Lionview Capital Management, a Pennsylvania based hedge fund in 2015 and serves as its Co- Manager.
Rezaul Karim, Director
Mr. Rezaul Karim is one of the Directors of the Company. He is a visionary person and successful entrepreneur. He has more than 26 years of experiences in different business at home and abroad. Mr. Karim has obtained his graduation degree in commerce.
Lipy Sultana Karim, Director
Mrs. Lipi Sultana Karim is wife of Mr. Reazaul Karim. She is actively engaged in the agro sector for several years. Mrs. Karim is the Director of National Feed Mill Limited.
Md. Mujahidul Islam, Independent Director
Md. Mujahidul Islam has completed his L.L.M from BUBT university and also has completed his L.L.B from University of Dhaka & Prime University. He has joined Bangladesh Bar Council as Advocate on 12.08.2009 and enrolled as Advocate in High court division of Bangladesh supreme court in 11.04.2015 He has more than Sixteen (16) years’ professional experience on legal field to this role.
Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Independent Director
Md. Siddiqur Rahman has completed his L.L.M from BUBT University and also has completed his Bachelor of Law from the University of Dhaka. He has joined Bangladesh Bar Council as Advocate on 30.06.2004 and enrolled as Advocate in High court division of Bangladesh supreme court in 30.12.2010 He has more than Twenty-One (21) years’ professional experience on legal field to this role.
